On July 17, 2026, youth leader Stephen Jiang attended the Alberta Premier’s meeting in Edmonton and met with Premier Danielle Smith.
Stephen used the opportunity to advocate for issues affecting young people and families in southwest Edmonton. He discussed improving access to healthcare, building additional schools in rapidly growing communities, and upgrading existing schools facing overcrowding.
Through his involvement of community service, and youth-led initiatives, Stephen continues to bring young people’s perspectives into public discussions and encourage greater youth participation in civic life.
